Yeeaaa! Krista came home for a long weekend to play with Broden. We got to go Christmas shopping and have lots of girl time with Kimmie and Krista, and of course Broden. Sooooo much fun. Krista thinks she should come home monthly so she can track Brodens growth and so he wont miss her to much!

We got our first snow storm (4 inches) so of course we had to try out Brodens snow suit. He didnt mind the snow landing on his face at all.

Here is our latest picture of our sweet Broden. He is so awesome! Love, love, love him.

Broden is growing like crazy. He is such a good baby! We can already see his little legs and arms start to fill out. We want a chubby baby :)

Kimmie, Broden, Krista, and I getting ready to go for a ride in my new car! I love it. It goes so fast it is kind of scary, but I find I am able to get over that and enjoy the ride :)

Obviously Broden does not get ANY attention at our house. Tyler, Krista, and Great Aunt Nancy watching Brody sleep!

We spent our whole weekend "trying" to take turns holding Broden. Broden had his Great Grandpa Jack, Great Grandma JoAnn, Great Aunt Nancy, and his second cousin Jacob come into town to meet him. Krista and Tyler were also home for the weekend, and we had a blast!

Well the weather is starting to change, so you know what I'm thinking?...........Yup thats right....It is time to bust out the bikini and go snowboarding again :) Who's coming with me this year?

Introducing Broden Tyler Tatara!

Kimmie's second rule was that she did not want the baby passed around until after they got home from the hospital. I sat down right next to David who was holding the baby and said in my sweetest, kindest, most gentle grandmotherly voice....."David, hand me the baby". This is what followed my getting to hold my grandson first!

Kimmie had two rules going in to have Broden.

Rule #1.) She wanted me in the delivery room until right before Broden was born and then she only wanted her and David in the delivery room. Well we pushed and pushed for an hour and right before Broden's head was delivered Kimmie said, "o.k. mom we have it from here." Well I started for the door (honestly I did) but when I got to the door, I couldnt make myself open it. So instead.....I hid behind the curtain....I know, I know but I swear I couldnt help myself. I saw his whole birth and saw them bring him over to the baby table (which I happend to be right next to) and saw them clean and suction him out. I stood there like an idiot crying, once again just couldnt help myself. When I finally looked up I saw I was totally busted as David and Kimmie were over at her bed just staring at me! Oh well....it was to late there was nothing they could do! (besides I am not afraid of either one of them) :) It was totally such an awesome experience that I wouldnt trade for the world!

Here is our sweet, perfect, baby Broden Tyler. He weighed in at 6lbs 5 oz. He is 19 1/4 inches long and has a head full of black hair exactly like Kimmie did when she was born. He has beautiful coloring and is soooo sweet. We are so excited to have him here finally.

We are now at 10cm and getting ready to push. I am so excited and emotional. I could not stop crying trying to take these pictures.

Can you tell she is my daughter? Kimmie asked Todd to go to the store and pick up nail polish! She said I bet you money he picks up pink! She was right. Nice job on the nail polishing technique though.

Fast forward......The epidural has now kicked in! Kimmie is dialted to 2cm at this point and feeling no pain!

I finally get to call everyone and tell them Kimmie is really going to have a baby. This is when they just started the pic drip! You can tell because I am still smiling.

You know the rule.....you can not eat when you are in labor!

We decided we were tired of walking around malls trying to start Kimmie's labor, so we went to Ocean's Journey instead. NO LUCK STILL!

This is how Erik and Todd passed time while waiting for Krista, Tyler, and Allen to get here this weekend. After they finished this they moved on to Karaoke......I will not publish that.

Krista celebrated her 24th birthday while she was home. Love having the kids all together.

We all got together this weekend while waiting for Brody to make his arrival (Nope not yet)
It was awesome to spend time together.

Jerry flipped his ATV (right on top of him) and thankfully David was right there to lift it off of him. One emergency room visit later he is really bruised and sore but nothing is broken!

Erik decided to show Todd a little love and a lot of payback. Can you tell things are not that exciting at my house with only one kid left???? This is what we do for fun!
